New Release: Dennis Coffey – ‘Outer Galaxies: Dennis Coffey Re-Worked’ + Free Download

Jazz, soul, and funk guitarist Dennis Coffey is a Detroit legend; his 1971 instrumental single, “Scorpio” hit #6 on the Billboard charts and went on to be sampled by many, including LL Cool J, Moby, Mos Def, Public Enemy, Roni Size, and Rage Against The Machine, to name just a few. Today, he’s partnered with some of Detroit’s finest hip hop talent to bring you an EP remixing his recently released self-titled album. The EP includes appearances from 14KT, Magestik Legend, Buff1, Astronote, and Mayer Hawthorne.

We are loving the joint with Mayer Hawthorne, which you can stream and download below. In fact, the entire EP is free for download if you follow the link below and enter your email address!
