Yes and yes. the RE:GENERATION Music Project has partnered up with The Grammy’s to present a very creative documentary concept. Follow DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex as they each “remix, recreate and re-imagine” one of five traditional styles of music along with influential musicians from the given genre.
Above, find the trailer for the documentary, which is due to premiere on YouTube in February 2012. After the jump, catch the DJ Premier track with Nas as well as the Pretty Lights track featuring LeAnn Rimes, which is quite incredible to say the least.
