Marsha Ambrosius Video: “Far Away”

Marsha Ambrosius (of Floetry fame) has released this video for “Far Away,” a single off her upcoming album on J Records. Soak in this message from the artist:

Dear Friends,

Every year over 1 million people commit suicide. Some were bullied because of their sexuality. I lost a friend to suicide, and I’m asking all of you to support alternative lifestyles. Don’t put up with or join in with bullying. It’s time we become more aware in this world. Take responsibility to make a difference. So if my music can save one life, I’ve done my job.

I love you all so much!

Marsha

New Raphael Saadiq Video: “Radio”

New video from the amazing Raphael Saadiq, whose upcoming album Stone Rollin takes him in a new direction. The single “Radio” features a similar style of retro-update to his last album, The Way I See It, but he went back further this time – past funk and soul, to rock n roll and swing dancing era.  Look out for Stone Rollin, due to be released on March 22nd.

Adele “Rolling in the Deep” Remix by Jamie XX

Jamie XX, whose remix of Gil Scott-Heron‘s “New York is Killing Me” quickly became a GPWW favorite, continues to make waves. His remix of Adele’s beautiful single “Rolling In the Deep” is truly out there. It’s stripped and distorted, but somehow doesn’t lose any momentum.
