Video: Blackbird Blackbird – “Tear”

Gorgeousness. San Francisco producer Blackbird Blackbird released a beautiful electronic tune called “Tears” late last year. At times, the song is a little reminiscent of The XX if you fancy them.

The video, though – wow. Sets off the song in a whole new way. It’s simple but profound with it’s juxtaposition of fast moving light flares and landscapes. Love the double exposure effect as well. So lovely.

Video: Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer – “Diggin In The Crates” ft. F.Stokes

[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/Aq2BiHVwuG8" width="550" height="445" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /]

French producers Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer got together with Harlem based emcee F.Stokes to pay homage to the age old art of crate digging. Shot in the streets of NYC, “Diggin In The Crates” takes us back to a nostalgic golden era sound, complete with scratches and all. Undeniable head bob music.

New Tracks: Frank Ocean – “Girlfriend’s Best Friend” & “4 Tears”

A couple new tracks from the beloved Frank Ocean. The radio ready “Girlfriend’s Best Friend” features a more straightforward R&B vocal style sure to inspire a mass reach. Take a listen to the stream below and act like you don’t wanna gyrate just a little bit.

“4 Tears” was leaked on sir Ocean’s Tumblr and sounds more like a working snippet, yet with a lot of potential. Also more in the mainstream vain, this tune is a smooth, easy listen. Check it out on Tumblr.
