New Release: Mark De Clive-Lowe – Live on KCRW’s ‘Morning Becomes Eclectic’

Mark de Clive-Lowe’s live performance on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic a couple weeks ago was quite the treat. Featuring the intoxicating Nia Andrews on vocals, MdCL on keys, piano, Maschine drums, electronics and fx, Tim Lefebvre on bass and Dexter Story on drums, the appearance included performances from Renegades as well as a sparkling cover of Aaliyah’s “More Than A Woman.”

Below, you can stream Mark’s entire appearance on the show. Or, simply cut to just the tracks on Soundcloud!

Video: TK Wonder & Kissey – “Get Down & Dirty”

[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/96l3BgQE6Qk" width="550" height="445" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /]

TK Wonder & Kissey have formed a union to create some seriously legit funky electro jams. Yes, folks, Kissey is indeed the bad mama behind the production with TK Wonder on the criminally sexy vocals.

These two heartbreakers put together might be cause for watching this video with some lab goggles – just saying. Rawr.

Video: Esperanza Spalding – “Black Gold” ft. Algebra Blessett

Esperanza Spalding’s new video for “Black Gold” sees a timely premiere at the start of Black History Month. Featuring Atlanta based vocalist Alegbra Blessett, the duet is a darling and empowering anthem for self-love and pride in a rich history. A storyline of a father and his two sons is woven into the performance portion of video and is quite the tearjerker. Watch and celebrate!
