New Track: Meshell Ndegeocello – “Be My Husband” + MP3 & New Nina Simone Tribute Album

The marvelous Meshell Ndegeocello will be making her 10th studio album a dedication to the timeless Nina Simone. Called Pour une âme souveraine (“For a sovereign soul”), Meshell and her band rework several of Nina's classics. The guest lineup is quite drool-worthy as well, which you can find in the tracklist below. As Meshell describes it, the album is “a dedication to Nina Simone and her incredible influence but it is also a dedication to the single, interior life we all experience.”
