Super soul goodness thanks to our August Next Step winner of ours! Canadian singer/songwriter Lady C is also a dancer and choreographer internationally recognized for her house dancing and b-girl moves.

In preparation for the release of her debut EP, Lady C recently released a video for "On Your Mind" to give folks a taste of what's coming. Watch miss C seductively pop and lock her way into your consciousness. Can we steal that jean jacket, by the way?

Also, below we've got a couple of our favorite tracks from the lady, "Womankind" and "I Stand Strong." "Womankind" sounds like the type of the buttery soul you'd hear on Tru Thoughts, a la an Alice Russell vibe - super smooth and sexy. "I Stand Strong" rests upon a Dilla beat and is a song 'freshly written after a broken heart,' - the song haunting and soothing all at once.

In addition to her upcoming solo EP, Lady C and fellow dancer CoFlo Ferreira have teamed up as Social Notation. With Lady C on vocals and CoFlo on production, the duo plans to release an album together.
