New Release: Autre Ne Veut – Anxiety

    February 28th, 2013

Last night, NYC homegrown R&B singer Autre Ne Veut paused and stared out over the crowd, seemingly moved by the sea of fans that had sold-out Santos Party House. After acknowledging his fans he confidently brought down the house, closing his astonishing forty-five minute set with his break out single Counting. It was his biggest show yet, in an exciting week that saw the release of his second album Anxiety on the Mexican Summer's Software imprint. An album which was immediately given Best New Music status (8.5) by Pitchfork. It's highly emotional content is coined by the singer’s experimental melodies over heavy 80esque synths and bass productions. If you haven't heard it yet, you can now stream it on Spotify.

Video: Yeah Yeah Yeahs – “Sacrilege”

    February 28th, 2013

The intro to this new Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Sacrilege" song reminds us quite a bit of "Black Balloon" by The Kills, but then transitions into a sassy high-strung tune we are quite enjoying shimmying to. Get familiar.
