Jessie J

It's clear the extraordinary Jessie J stands alone. Mix a bit of Rihanna with Gwen Stefani, add the charisma of Pink, and you will start to get an idea of what kind of girl Jessie J is. As much as she can be a voice for the hard times, those soulful, Aretha Franklin-esque vocals can also soundtrack the best of times too. The British-born, Essex-bred vocalist is malleable enough to encompass several genres, while displaying vocals reminiscent of Motown-era greats.

Jessie continues to climb up numerous charts. Her first single, "Price Tag,"(Featuring B.o.B) debuted on the Mediabase/BDS Top 40 chart, and is quickly finding a spot on airwaves across the nation. She is also no stranger to making hits. She has written for Britney Spears, penned "Party in the USA" for Miley Cyrus, and "I Need This" for Chris Brown.

The accolades don't stop there; Jessie J also carved the #1 spot on the BBC Sound of 2011 list, and has been named MTV's International Artist of the Month for March 2011. However, it's all simply building the platform for her debut.

Daily Variety named her "Talent to watch in 2011,"" and NME writes, "Jessie's a future pop siren cut from a different kind of polyester." Simon Cowell states, "Jessie's one of the best artists to come out in years," while Nikki Minaj proclaimed, "I've fallen in love with Jessie J."
