Analog Players Society
Led by producer, engineer, and percussionist Amon - the Analog Players Society is a collective and community of musicians rooted at The Hook Studio in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to leading Analog Players Society Amon has a rich musical history having shared the stage with a wide-range of internationally acclaimed artists. He has performed with the mega-group TOOL, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Subatomic Soundsystem, The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Magbana Drum and Dance Co. and The Vissi Dance Theater.
Amon has trained in West Africa and in the states with several famous and legendary West African master drummers including Famadou Konate and Mamady Keita and currently in NYC with Michael Markus and master drummer M'Bemba Bangora.
Aside from being an accomplished producer Amon keeps very busy as a studio musician and as such has appeared on several albums. Amon is the resident percussionist for the critically acclaimed, Afrokinetic (DJ Chris Annibell) and Rawfusion (Miami/NYC). He is also a recurring guest for many other celebrated DJs such as Nickodemus (Turntables on the Hudson), Rich Medina (Jump n' Funk/Props) and more.
