Eric Wright, AKA Eazy-E was the front man for the seminal rap group NWA. Using a portion of the money he made from drug dealing, Eazy formed the rap label Ruthless Records. On Nov. 6, 1987 the compilation album N.W.A. and the Posse was released and went on to be certified Gold. Eazy's debut album Eazy-Duz-It was released a few months after the classic NWA record Straight Outta Compton hit the streets. The records included the hits "Boyz N The Hood," "Eazy Duz It," "We Want Eazy" and "Eazy-er Said Than Dunn." Eazy's legacy is that of legends. Despite his passing at a young age he is still referred to as "The Godfather Of Gangsta Rap."
