Small Arms Fiya
Small Arms Fiya is a two man production outfit combining the creative energy of Scott "Monkz" Moncrieff and the matchless crafts of Thomas "Toddla" Mackenzie Bell. Drawing together Dancehall, Hip-Hop, UK Garage and Detroit Techno influences to create an innovative and original sound, Small Arms Fiya have already receiving props from the likes of Benji B and Ross Allen. As producers and remixers they have worked on an impressive collection of material, which ranges from Jersey Street to Chris Duckenfield to Lo Tek Hi Fi. Current projects include fresh production material for Pete Simpson of Electric Souls Soundsystem and The Sunburst Band.
Tom is an established sound engineer at Kenwood Studios (home of Dizzee Rascal's 'Boy In Da Corner') and is resident at Sheffield's 'Tonic' parties. He has also DJ'd alongside the likes of Benji B, Switch & Maurice Fulton.
Scott is resident DJ at the Electriks' weekly Saturday night 'Nish Nash Nosh' in Manchester and at 'The Social' in Nottingham. He is also founder of Sheffield's 'It Doesn't Really Matter' and has played host to acts such as Daz-I-Kue and Tortued Soul.
