New Release: ZZ Ward – ‘Til The Casket Drops’

LA based and Oregon bred bluesy singer/songwriter ZZ Ward today dropped her new album, Til The Casket Drops, which features a mouthwatering stable of collaborators. Production from Ryan Tedder, Pete Rock, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Fitz (Fitz and the and Tantrums), amongst others, make this a diverse and highly palatable project. And that voice coming out of that little lady - what?!
Blend in blues with a little rap, why not? Some of the feature guests include Kendrick Lamar and Freddie Gibbs who handle all that quite splendidly.

Lee Fields finds himself in conflict when he comes across a cunning lady that tempts him to change his "Faithful Man" ways. Taking place in a nightclub, the video shows what goes on behind the shadows. A fervent Lee takes the stage pleading to keep him from 'doing wrong.' This song is soul to the highest degree.
With the video also comes the release of a limited edition 7" for all the vinyl lovers out there.
