Mia Doi Todd has an incredibly soothing sound; it's as if any sound that exits her lips becomes a gorgeous lullaby. Her music is folky, soulful, and global, traversing Cuba, Brazil, Mexico, France, and India.

You may recognize Mia from the recent Captain Planet "Paraty" remix we posted, the Red Hot + Rio 2 project, or her "All My City" video we shared back in June.

Today, we share with you a live clip of Mia's beautiful performance of "Um Girassol da Cor do Seu Cabelo" from Red Hot + Rio 2.

Also, we are pleased to share an exclusive free download from her most recent album, Cosmic Ocean Ship - "Canto de Iemanjá" is an Afro Samba tribute to the great Orisha of the Ocean by Baden Powell and Vinícius de Moraes.
