“Close Your Eyes” – An Interactive Photography and Dance Experience 1/18/10

Underground photographer Jaecyne Howell has teamed up with NYC veterans Jay Locke (DanceTracks/ Lion1Music/ Soul People Music) and MKL (Lion1Music) to showcase a new, interactive work inspired by the life and work of artist Ernie Barnes (the artist of the painting featured on the television show, Good Times), on Monday, January 18th, at Littlefield. This installation will sport stunning visuals set to hypnotic sounds along with the debut of a new choreographic work by Desiree Godsell and Lia McPherson, entitled “Drum Major Instinct”, set to the MLK, Jr. speech mix by DJ Marshallito. A one of a kind interactive performance where your inspiration as an audience member is the axis of the party, so come ready to see, hear and move.
