February 25th, 2013
Fans packed New York City's Gramercy Theatre last night to kick off Naughty By Nature's international tour recognizing the 20th anniversary of the anthem "Hip Hop Hooray." Treach, Vin Rock and Kay Gee brought out everything from classics like "Uptown Anthem," "O.P.P." and "Feel Me Flow" to newer cuts from 2011's Anthem Inc.
The stage was full of notables including DJ Cassidy, EPMD's Erick Sermon, Ed Lover, A Tribe Called Quests' Jarobi and Black Sheep's Dres. The last two shared the mic to give the audience a taste of their joint project, Evitan.
Naughty will be touring heavily throughout the year including stops this Friday at DC's Howard Theatre; Saturday at Norfolk, VA's Attucks Theatre and Sunday in Winston-Salem, NC at Ziggy's.
