New Track: Sam Roberts – “Let It In” (King Britt Je Ne Sais Quoi Remix) + MP3

    April 23rd, 2012

One of our favorites, King Britt, recently did a remix for Canadian artist Sam Roberts and it's hitting all the right nerves. Take a listen to the twinkling Je Ne Sais Quoi remix for "Let It In," and let it brush over you with its breezy freshness. And just wait for the vocals to drop - ooh! We're feeling it all over.

New Remix: Tanya Lacey – “Born To Fly” (by Roni Size)

    April 19th, 2012

Our favorite Tanya Lacey song, "Born To Fly" has gotten a special remix treatment from none other than drum and bass beast Roni Size. The two Bristol natives join forces to create an amplified, gravelly sound that is bound to stir something inside you.

Exclusive Track: Wayna – “So Long Heartache” (Blue Remix) + NYC Billie Holiday Tribute Show @ Blue Note – 4/6

    April 4th, 2012

Grammy nominated DC soul singer Wayna has blessed us with the opportunity to share a gorgeous remix for her follow-up to Billie Holiday's "Good Morning Heartache." Called "So Long Heartache," the tune starts off coy and slowed down with a cover of the original tune and then picks up into a modern soul groove with a bright beat and a feature from DC lyricist W. Ellington Felton. Loving it - the lady got some pipes and flavor to spare! Stream the track below.

Also, catch Wayna this Friday at the Blue Note for a special Billie Holiday birthday celebration and tribute show. W. Ellington Felton will also be performing as a featured guest. In addition to some incredible Billie Holiday covers, guests can also look forward to a preview of Wayna's upcoming third studio album!
