Songkick Mobile App Launch

Songkick just launched their free Songkick Concerts mobile app for iPhone and iPod touch today and it’s kind of serious with 100,000 concert listings in over 70 countries (AKA you’re never missing your favorite artists’ shows again). Once you load the app, Songkick Concerts detects your location and scans all the music on your device to create a highly-personalized lists of concerts in your area. After you find a show you’re into, you can invite friends to a concert via the Facebook, Twitter, or email integration, too. Gnarly.

Other highlights? Personalized concert calendar, push notifications when shows are announced, complete concert info (map, line-up, date, time, and ticket options), and concert browsing in your area (you can add more than one location). And for those of you that already have a Songkick.com account, obvs you’ll be able to integrate that with your handy dandy app as well.
