For Brooklynites who won't make it to Central Park, SummerStage isn't the only option for great outdoor shows this summer. New York's longest running free festival is coming back to Prospect Park this Wednesday, and we've put together a list of must-see shows for Celebrate Brooklyn! 2010. After the jump, check out videos of our top picks and get the full line-up.
SummerStage (NYC) is here with the season and as usual, tons of great artists are lined up to play in the park. We've selected some choice options for you, because alas we cannot all be everywhere at once. After the jump, check out the full line-up along with some videos of our favorites.
Danish duo Quadron brings us the second video from their self-titled release on Plug Research. The soul/electronic act provides an entrancing visual take on the proverbial hoops women jump through in the many transitions from "teenagehood" to adulthood. Perhaps the emotional "Buster Keaton" video questions why women seem to float through life wearing the classically stoic Buster-Keaton-silent-movie face - either that or it's a hoola-hoop commercial. Let us know what you think!
Check out Quadron's summer tour dates after the jump!

International music sensation Rocky Dawuni describes his new album, recorded during the recent transformative U.S. Presidential election and released today, as an uplifting exploration of social and global consciousness. The music was crafted to reflect the common spiritual, political and social aspirations felt by people around the world. Hymns for the Rebel Soul features melodic acoustic tracks like "Jerusalem," a personal ode to the Holy City as well as the poignant social commentary of "Walls Tumblin Down" and the "Lover's Rock" vibe of "Extraordinary Woman." His track "Download the Revolution" appears on Electronic Arts' video game FIFA Soccer 2010 which has already sold millions of copies and is now available on iTunes. "African Soccer Fever/African Reggae Fever" was also just released on EA's FIFA World Cup 2010 Videogame.
A percentage of Hymns for the Rebel Soul's proceeds will go to Africa Live!, a non-profit organization founded by Dawuni, whose mission is to preserve, restore, and reinvigorate the Ghanaian live music scene.

Alto/soprano saxophonist/flautist Tia Fuller's newest Mack Avenue release, Decisive Steps, is a sumptuous CD of ten tracks that illustrate her artistic fearlessness. A member of Beyoncé's band for four years, Fuller's agile, buoyant and elegant full-bodied sax lines effortlessly improvise a number of moods and grooves, as evidenced by the take-no-prisoners tempo of the title track. The album also contains her ingenious reworking of two well-worn standards: "I Can't Get Started" and "My Shining Hour."
Decisive Steps features Tia's Beyoncé bandmate, drummer Kim Thompson; bassist Miriam Sullivan; Fuller's sister, Shamie Royston on piano and Fender Rhodes; with special guests, trumpeter Sean Jones and bassist Christian McBride (both Mack Avenue label mates); vibraphonist Warren Wolf; and tap dancer Maurice Chestnut.
