Sassy Oregon vocalist ZZ Ward has caught the attention of some incredible collaborators, including Ryan Tedder, Pete Rock, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Freddie Gibbs. The siren today released the video for “Put The Gun Down” with hard hitting zeal closely reminiscent of Adele and Christina Aguilera. Perfectly fine with us. The track comes from her recent Criminal EP.

7/19 - Portland, OR – Oregon Zoo

Giant Step & Revive Music Present the Seventh Installment of CHURCH with DJ Ian Friday

We have some unfortunate news regarding this edition of Church: Mark de Clive-Lowe was robbed while on tour in Europe last Sunday…they got his passport, computer and a whole bunch of other valuables.

Because of visa issues, he can’t come back into the US until everything is resolved, so IAN FRIDAY will be turning it into an all night dance party which WILL be incredible! Cover’s gonna be reduced, and we’ll make it up to you on July 13th when Mark will be back in NYC full force.

You can read more about what he went through here…There’s also a place on the blog to donate money if you want to help him recover from the $10K+ he lost…

You can still buy advance tickets here.
