    release description

In 2010, Jack was able to squeeze in some work with fellow genre-benders Cee-Lo and B.O.B. (see Cee-Lo's "Fool for You" and "I Want You" off his Lady Killer album and B.O.B.'s "Dr. Aden" off his No Genre album), but most of 2010 was focused on what may very well be his best work to date! Originally scheduled to be the third installation of his mixtape series, Jack Splash decided that this Future Of The Funk project was too close to his heart to be considered a mixtape. The title of the album says it all with a collision of sounds that combine the best elements of original funk (a'la Sly Stone, James Brown, Prince & George Clinton) with the futuristic electro space funk that has become Jack Splash's trademark in his work with artists like Cee-Lo, Alicia Keys, R-Kelly, T-Pain, Missy Elliott, Kelis and others. The album features brand new songs from some of Jack's closest musical friends and collaborators including Cee-Lo, B.O.B., Jennifer Hudson, Estelle, Plantlife, Anthony Hamilton, Raheem DeVaughn, Goapele, Lemar and many more.
