release description

For their 5th anniversary edition CD, Nickodemus & Mariano from the Turntables on the Hudson crew are carefully compiling a collection of "party anthems" that kept the dancefloors bouncing at their parties over the years. As always, the guys are offering a vinyl sampler to tease us with. This first 12" sampler includes four of the 10 tracks from the upcoming CD. We begin with "Music Man" by Origin featuring Shaka. A soulful vocal by Cleveland Watkiss backed by some truly organic vocal percussion. Get ready, some remixes are in the works! The second track, "I Feel Music," by Harlem Zip Code, is one of the House anthems that speaks to all the lovers in the place. It hasn't left the crates since we first heard it three years ago. On the flip, we get into the raw build of the current Max Sedgley hit, "Happy." From the first vocal drop, party people start making noise! Lastly, Farid's "Sunday Paper" represents the early or late part of the night when we're hitting people off with the Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk grooves.
