Exclusive Video: Jenna Andrews – ‘Covers’ with Maiya Norton

Following the release of her Kiss and Run EP, we caught up with the lovely Jenna Andrews for the second installment of our Covers series hosted by miss Maiya Norton.

Jenna shares where her love for soul music is rooted from, her experience working with legendary producers, what songs she sings in the shower, and boardroom performances. And of course, we share some resonant covers with Jenna for her reaction. As always, we close out with a live cover performance, this time of Jenna’s personally selected cover of Aaliyah’s “Hot Like Fire.” Loving Jenna’s unique spin on this classic.

Shouts to Rashid and Dave for holding down the video production!

New Track: Nicholas Ryan Gant – “Cereal Love”

Our boy Nicholas Ryan Gant is one pretty darn rad vocalist – slept on highly, in fact. What we also love about this dude is his lightheartedness and willingness to just have have some fun. And his appreciation for food. Ok, we’re done.

What’s happened here is that homeboy took Aaliyah’s “One In A Million” and flipped it just a tad to share with us the boundless depths of joy that is “Cereal Love.” Act like you don’t just adore it. Try.

Artist Spotlight: Marques Toliver + Videos & MP3

Marques Toliver for Bounty from BOUNTY TV on Vimeo.

The Florida born Marques Toliver has heart; he escaped his family’s grave digging business to pursue training as a classical violinist, which he then later abandoned for the thrill of making music in New York City. Recently, he released his debut EP, Butterflies Are Not Free on Bella Union (April 26th). Blending classical violin with R&B songwriting, the young artist’s passion is palpable to the listener. And he’s also just so darn adorable. Don’t you just wanna give him a hug? We promise you will after you see the above video with him doing a cover of Aaliyah’s “4 Page Letter.” And of course we can’t leave you without a treat to take home; after the jump you can stream and download “Deep In My Heart” from the latest project and check out the newly released video!
