Kelis’ new album Flesh Tone hits stores today and has already been tipped as one of 2010′s “Best Bets” by Billboard. The David Guetta-produced single “Acapella” is already an international No. 1 hit, while the festive “4th of July (Fireworks)” is a club banger that mixes R&B soulfulness and electro breaks with a rip-roaring wobbly bass riff. Kelis says of the album, “there’s a physicality behind it – it’s about blood, muscle, heart. I was pregnant when I recorded 75 or 80 percent of this music… And that became a real driving force for me. She also worked with label head will.i.am, Alle, Benny Benassi, Free School, Boys Noize and Burns to achieve her club-ready sound.

“Acapella” is the Free Video of the Week over at iTunes so grab it now before it’s gone. You can also stream loads of remixes here. Besides those remixes by the likes of Benny Benassi and David Guetta, a lesser-known DJ Replay also made a dope mix to get you hyped up for the new album, Flesh Tone.
