You already know we love Daily Bread. Comprised of Apollo Brown and Hassaan Mackey, the duo released their self titled debut back in late July and its still in rotation.
Today, grab a bonus track called "Night Time," which they came together for before Brown hits the road. Characteristically soulful with just that necessary knock, it's another instant gem. Hassan's flow and Apollo's beats are pure poetry.

We've already been knocking this one hard. Yesterday Apollo Brown and Hassaan Mackey released their debut self-titled album as Daily Bread. Detroit-based Apollo Brown singlehandedly produced the album and Rochester's Hassaan Mackey handles emcee duty thoroughly. Be prepared for chills and the like.
We are very excited to share one of our favorite tracks off the album, "Volume," for free download. The song also happens to be a favorite of the duo's as Hassan relates, "Yo man, that was the first beat Apollo played when I walked in his crib in Detroit…this was the first song I wrote to when I got there, and we knew it was the lead joint."

Hypnotic and triumphant, Apollo Brown's "Tao Te Ching" track now has a fresh animated video to set the perfect ambiance. The video comes from the Detroit-based producer's March release, Clouds, and is on the heels of his upcoming release with Rochester, NY rapper, Hassaan Mackey entitled, Daily Bread. Looks like we're going to have to turn back that dial and cue up Clouds while we await the new project!
