New Track: Avan Lava – “Somebody To Love Me” (Mark Ronson Cover)

As evidenced by their previous work, quite sure that not many can get it like Brooklyn band Avan Lava.

Now the crew’s got a bright and shiny new track in the form of a cover of the Mark Ronson dance groove “Somebody To Love Me.” Act like you can keep from bouncing – you pretty much can’t, huh? Yeah, we’re gonna leave you alone for a minute.

Back in January, we posted the video of Brooklyn’s Ava Lava in their live performance of “It’s Never Over” and it was totally party time. But have you seen the official video with all its freakin ridonkulous choreography (that’ll make you wanna move all your living room furniture and join the eff in like it was your destiny)?

Yes, that was a serious parenthetical reference. Now, quit judging us and look into your own soul if you aren’t already busting a move mid lost mind.

Brooklyn based band Avan Lava is way too much fun. After watching “It’s Never Over,” you’re going to know exactly what we mean. This ish is contagious. And who are these people anyway? Remember the Blue Man Group? Well yeah, that’s part of it – sort of.

Singer TC (Tom Hennes) and producers Le Chev (Narcisse, Fischerspooner) and Ian Pai (Blue Man Group, Fischerspooner) are no newbies at getting the eff down. Birthed during an overnight bus ride in Brazil, Avan Lava’s music is a tasteful mash of R&B, electronic, and indie in the most desirable way.
