New Track: Babajaga – “Caravan”

Babajaga comprises two classically trained Eastern European musicians who blend together live violin and electronic beats to create a lush and captivating sound. Kind of reminds us of the gypsy styled Beats Antique or something you’d hear on the Buddha Bar compilations. Their debut EP, The Passage, will be out next week on July 13, and we’ve got a little taste to tide you over.

“Caravan” is the first single and available for free download. Starting somewhere in outer space, the track crescendos into a Middle Eastern style violin melody and gains force with haunting piano and electronic embellishments that encircle you.
