New Release: Vindahl – ‘Serendipity’ + Exclusive Free Download ft. Coco of Quadron

Boom Clap Bachelors co-founder Vindahl is soon set to release his first solo effort. Called Serendipity, the album takes a journey through a variety of electronic sounds, ultimately serving up a palatable platter of bright, highly ambient music. Guests include Jenny Wilson, Coco from Quadron, and the Boom Clap Bachelors.

While the album has its official release set for October 17th, Tokyo Dawn has made the digital version available now! After four years in the making and many postponements on this precious labor of love, it’s understandable that Vindahl may want to bend the rules a bit.

We are honored to have the opportunity to present three of our favorite tracks along with an exclusive download of “Head Over Heels” ft. Coco. Enjoy!

Homebase Presents Live at the Clubhouse: Coco (of Quadron) “Sleep” + MP3

HOMEBASE presents: CoCo O. “Sleep” w/ theClubhouse
from theClubhouse on Vimeo.

We post a lot of Quadron on the blog, only because everything they do is fantastic. Their constant brilliance is partially due to vocalist Coco, who is featured in a new digi-release for free download: Homebase presents Live at the Clubhouse. Coco re-made / covered / interpolated / sampled the 1976 Deniece Williams song, “Free.” The result is her new track “Sleep,” the characteristically sweet breathy voice backed by a full band. Quadron Video “Herfra Hvor Vi Star”

Thanks to Plug Research and Yours, we present this video of Quadron performing “Herfra Hvor Vi Star,” a rehearsal recently shot in LA. The live video features an intimate portrait of producer Robin and singer Coco with band, demonstrating Robin’s stripped down production, while showcasing Coco’s powerful vocals.

Quadron will also be a part of the annual 2 day UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival, which also features Nas and Damian Marley, Barrington Levy, Q-Tip, Raphael Saadiq, Bilal, Foreign Exchange, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Declaime, and many others.
