Video: Gary Clark Jr. – “Numb” (Live on Conan O’Brien)

Gary Clark Jr. aka the modern Jimi Hendrix to many is just totally swoon-worthy. Only this week, we’ve had a few friends randomly gush to us about just how dreamy the man is. Probably our favorite track off his Blak and Blu album and also its first single, “Numb,” was performed on Conan O’Brien earlier this week. And yes, he’s once again successfully given us heart palpitations and a case of the sweats.

Hear the studio version of “Numb.”

Video: Wild Belle – “It’s Too Late” (Live on Conan O’Brien)

We do sure love us some Wild Belle. The retro pop group made its appearance on Conan this week and owned it with their live performance of “It’s Too Late.” With the backing music fairly simple, it’s really something when a vocalist can really carry a performance with a great voice. Love the lead singer Natalie Bergman’s tone and vocal style.

Video: Lianne La Havas – “Is Your Love Big Enough?” (Live on 89.3 The Current)

Rising star Lianne La Havas was recently featured on Conan O’Brien and also performed a couple other spots stateside. Of her performances, our favorite video is of her in studio live rendition of “Is Your Love Big Enough?” for Minnesota’s 89.3 The Current. She looks so cozy and awesome in that sweater and those patterned pants, too!

Something about that crackling honey voice that makes us damn near lose our minds.
