Yeahhh boyee! This new release by Iman Omari and Moruf is the business. The Sounds of Euphoria presents nine tracks of soultronic chronic and hypnotic hip hop. If you dig the off-center, drunken dream vibes of Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, or Stacy Barthe mixed with a little nostalgic hip hop, you’re going to like this. New Release: Frank Ocean – ‘Channel Orange’

Frank Ocean has been swirling in our heads and hearts something heavy since about 1AM this morning, when we saw sir Frank tweet the Tumblr link to his full album stream. Shortly thereafter, he made his TV debut on Jimmy Fallon and announced the one week early iTunes release of Channel Orange. You know we headed straight to iTunes and then took to the social networks to gush about his mystical songwriting prowess and stylistic brilliance.

Firstly, we’re thrilled about not having to manually click on “play” at Soundcloud eleventy-billion times to obsessively loop “Sweet Life.” And then there are the other glorious singles like “Thinkin Bout You” and “Pyramids” right at our fingertips along with a new assortment of Frank’s characteristically honest music. Aside from the singles to date, “Crack Rock” and “Pink Matter” are definitely our favorite new tracks, with “Lost,” “Monks,” and “Bad Religion” being other standouts. Naturally, each listen takes us a little deeper.

Below, view Frank’s performance of the heart wrenching “Bad Religion” – given its relevance to his recent personal disclosures, it was nothing short of teary eyes over here. Heavy. Stream the full album on Frank’s Tumblr page.

Video: Jennah Bell – Live on 2012 BET Awards

Last time you may have heard of our lady Jennah Bell was when we posted her cover of Frank Ocean’s “Swim Good” back in February. Since, she has continued to quickly blossom and reach new heights. Earlier this week, we were thrilled to find miss Jennah as a performer on the 2012 BET Music Awards as a Music Matters artist. Watch her chilling performance as she performs an original tune in her trademark lilting, folkish sing-song – such a special voice.

Below, Jennah recounts the surreality of her whole experience leading up to her big day as a performer at the famed event. Super proud of our Bay Area homegirl – represent, love!
