Already a success in her native England, 23 year-old UK singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding makes her stateside debut with her EP An Introduction To Ellie Goulding and a few exclusive performances, including tomorrow night at Hiro Ballroom (NYC). Described as “electro-folk-acoustic-pop,” Ellie’s songs mix heartfelt emotion with other-worldly atmospherics, spinning electronica into dreamy warmth. She’s also released a pack of “Starry Eyed” remixes by Penguin Prison featuring Theophilus London, Monsieur Adi, Jakwob, Russ Chimes, and AN21 and Max Vangel.

Robyn follows up her Grammy-nominated album with a triple album in three installments. Body Talk Pt 1, (6/15) picks up where Robyn left off, with the emphasis on those sweeping, emotional dance tracks and the biting, quirky rap-pop with which she made her name. On the lead single from the new album, “Dancing On My Own,” Robyn depicts a scene familiar to many: the man she loves is dancing with another woman, oblivious to her presence as she looks on.
Check out the club remixes by Chew Fu, Michael Woods, Fred Falke, Jakwob, Rex The Dog and Buzz Junkies.
