The first weekend of Coachella 2012 has hit its conclusion and man, what a bar it has set. Above, catch a crazy video of a Tupac hologram performing “Hail Mary” and “Gangsta Party” on a mind-blowing onstage collaboration with Snoop Dogg. Live performance effects just got that much more serious, y’all.

Below is the video from an incredible performance by SBTRKT, which follows with our other favorite Coachella 2012 performances so far after the jump – Tune-Yards, Florence & The Machine, Frank Ocean, and The Black Keys.

Other performers this weekend included A$AP Rocky, AraabMUZIK, Azealia Banks, Beats Antique, Bon Iver, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, Feist, Fitz and the Tantrums, Flying Lotus, Gary Clark Jr., Justice, Kaskade, Kendrick Lamar, M83, Metronomy, Nero, Radiohead, Santigold, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, The Shins, The Weekend, Thundercat, and Wallpaper, to name just a little handful.

Kaskade Remixes Late Night Alumni: “It’s Not Happening”

Late Night Alumni‘s sound is characterized by an immaculately-crafted production style that rides between electronic and organic; tied together with the angelic vocal presence of the front-woman. “It’s Not Happening” is the first single from their forthcoming album Haunted.

Late Night Alumni’s Ryan Raddon aka Kaskade is also a world-renowned producer and DJ who has remixed such artists as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Seal. Kaskade: “Contrary to what some bloggers think, Late Night Alumni is not just me. But don’t get me wrong… this is my band. But it’s also Becky, John and Finn’s band. Becky’s voice is the reason we do what we do. Her style and character make Late Night Alumni possible.”

Kaskade’s Dynasty

Award winning DJ, remixer and producer, Kaskade follows up the massively successful Strobelite Seduction full-length with his sixth album, Dynasty. The first single, aptly titled “Dynasty,” has a gritty production, smoothed out by the vocals of Haley, known as the ethereal singer of “I Remember” and “Move For Me.” There’s also “Only You,” which features production work from none other than Tiėsto. The result is a blend of Tiėsto’s signature pace of trance and Kaskade’s soulful swagger — organic California underground meets big floor Euro. “Fire In Your New Shoes,” featuring Dragonette’s Martina, delivers a rock-riffed, downtown cool, electro-pop sound sure to resonate all summer.

Dynasty is available digitally now [iTunes] and in stores on CD May 11.

To support the album, Kaskade’s extensive worldwide tour will span the remainder of 2010.
