New Tracks: Kissey – “House” + “All Night” (Demo) & NYC Show – May 24

Swedish vocalist/producer Kissey keeps teasing us with these little leaks! The sassy and elegant young lass recently dropped a couple new gems on us and they’ve automatically been plugged into rotation.

“House” is a quirky 80′s/90′s style electro dance jam that’ll have you chanting the chorus in about two seconds flat.

The “All Night” demo is a dark, chilling ballad with sparse, haunting keys. This lady never fails to show us her marvelous range.

This Thursday, Kissey will be performing her first NYC show in three years and we can’t quite explain how giddy we are. Let’s just say she’s got some tricks up her sleeve that you’re not going to want to miss.

Video: TK Wonder & Kissey – “Get Down & Dirty”

TK Wonder & Kissey have formed a union to create some seriously legit funky electro jams. Yes, folks, Kissey is indeed the bad mama behind the production with TK Wonder on the criminally sexy vocals.

These two heartbreakers put together might be cause for watching this video with some lab goggles – just saying. Rawr.

New Release: Love Muscle – ’4pLay’

Lisa Preston and Sir Froderick make some refreshing music for real. Smooth, light, journeying across various interpretations of space, the sound is undeniably pleasant. At the beginning of this month, their duo Love Muscle dropped a 7-track album called 4pLay. The first track starts off with a beat that seems to have sampled some Georgia Anne Muldrow vocals – can’t be mad at it.

Lisa’s flowery vocal style lightweight reminds us of Kissey, who we shared a new track from a couple weeks ago. Sir Froderick holds it down as well, with production that is enchanting, charming, nostalgic, and new.

New Track: Kissey – “Cry” + MP3

Oh how we love Kissey (formerly Kissey Asplund). She recently dropped an electro-soul track with her special space-fairy dust. Parts remind us of Sonnymoon and Quadron as she crescendos into a chill evoking echo reminiscent of Radiohead. Still all Kissey, though. We are so excited for more! More, please, more!
