New Release: Jenna Andrews – ‘Kiss and Run EP’

By now singer/songwriter Jenna Andrews has got to have you feeling some sort of way with that totally unfair cooing voice of hers. We’ve shared a few tracks to whet your appetite so far: “Mourning Sickness,” “Kiss and Run,” and “I Didn’t Mean It.”

And today, you can have all the rest with the release of Jenna’s 7-track Kiss and Run EP, featuring an all-star production cast: The Messengers (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown), Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), Doc McKinney (The Weeknd, Drake, Mary J. Blige), Adam Pallin (Cobra Starship), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Lady Gaga, Far East Movement), and Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce, Jordin Sparks, Cheryl Cole).

The determined artist’s passion seamlessly translates from her story to honest, real lyrics that she aims to use to help give ‘little girls and young women hope that their dreams can come true.’ We can get behind that, no doubt.

Also today, Jenna released her video for “Weapon,” which happens to be one of our favorite tracks off the EP. And yet another gorgeous video to complement a candid song about the double edged sword that love can often be.

A little cross between Adele and Lana Del Rey, perhaps? And still, vocal sensation Paloma Faith has indubitably got mounds of drama in a fashion all her own.

Blending pop, country, soul, and little throwback rock, this acoustic video for “Agony” showcases the tickling passion of this young lady. Her album, Fall To Grace, was recently released in the UK – so you all can be sure that there will be plenty more trickling in for us to share.

New Release: Bobby Womack – ‘The Bravest Man In The Universe’

Bobby Womack today releases his first album in a good little minute, The Bravest Man In The Universe. One may choose to call the Damon Albarn and Richard Russell produced album “an electronic secular gospel album,” but we just call it awesome.

Listeners can look forward to songwriting collaborations with Harold Payne and vocal appearances by Lana Del Rey and Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara. Some true next level business here.

Below, check out the retro outerspace inspired video for “Whatever Happened To The Times,” which dropped today!

Also, please note that our annual SummerStage concert in NYC with Bobby has been postponed due to a recent and successful surgery. Stay tuned for more details on the new date.
