With Food & Liquor II now up for a Grammy, Lupe Fiasco has seamlessly made a return into the limelight. Last night, he gave an incredible performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon alongside Guy Sebastian of his latest single, “Battle Scars.” Backed by none other than The Roots, this live rendition was full of spirit and fervor as they all lit up the stage for an unforgettable moment. Not gonna be able to get this out of our head, either.

A dreadlocked Lupe Fiasco stars in the video for the all too real new tune, “Around My Way [Freedom Ain't Free].” In his typical memorable flow, Lupe gets down amidst the city with lyrics hitting on the questionable ins and outs of daily living pushed up against the notion of the American Dream.

The track is from Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, which will be out on September 25.
