Earlier this week we shared Mecca:83's release of Life Sketches Vols 1 & 2. Today, we got a bonus track for you that just missed the album. Called "Midnight Kids," the track features Tokyo based producer and pianist Kan Sano as well as Pittsburgh's Buscrates 16-Bit Ensemble. Enjoy the gorgeous late night kickback track with it's dancing chimes, brushes, and digital treats adorning some lovely keys. It's a free download as well!

Unwind to the incredibly mellow stylings of of British producer Mecca:83 and don't worry about a thing. We are so relaxed right now that we can barely focus on writing this post. We first spoke of Mecca:83 back in July this year, when he released his Life Sketches EP, a smooth melange combining a variety of sounds. Last Friday, the Manchester beatmaker announced a new single called "Love Story." The song reminds us of an electronic underwater fairytale.

Having already received love from our man Gilles Peterson, Manchester based beat technician Mecca:83 has made us quite happy with his recent Life Sketches EP. The mood is mellow, easily shifting between electronic, hip hop, and soul sounds. It's pretty frickin sexy, really. Might we suggest it as a summer boo wooing device?
