In preparing for his upcoming album, People Hear What They See, Oddisee decided to give the internets something a little extra special this time. Herein is a remix of Marvin Gaye’s “Ain’t That Peculiar,” which also includes a new verse by our man himself.

The remix is part of an EP called Odd Renditions, which includes similar reworks of songs by K-Os, Bon Iver, and Metronomy – look out for that to drop for free next week. Loving this so much!

The video collage above shows of footage of Marvin performing the original track. And did we mention that it’s synchronized to this new version? Ohhhh, yeah!

New Track: Metronomy – “The Look” (Two Inch Punch’s Shook Shook Refix)

So, yeah. Slightly obsessed with this Two Inch Punch remix for Metronomy’s “The Look.” It’s like we’re on a beach rave in outerspace – do beach raves even exist? If not, can we invent them right now?

The track is from The English Riviera Unreleased Remixes, which includes thirteen reworks from the group’s third album, The English Riviera.

Only Children covers Metronomy’s “Everything Goes My Way” to bring us the very special “Everything.Goes.OUR.Way,” which will be on their forthcoming project, Love.Shaped.Love.Sounds. The duo consists of Def Sound and Nikko Gray, who claim to have birthed a new genre they call trillwave. On this particular track, Nikko’s vocals sound like a yummy blend of Karma Stewart (of PPP fame) and Ragen Fykes of Grillade. Heart. You can also take a listen to their latest single, “Automatic,” below.
