Last night, NYC homegrown R&B singer Autre Ne Veut paused and stared out over the crowd, seemingly moved by the sea of fans that had sold-out Santos Party House. After acknowledging his fans he confidently brought down the house, closing his astonishing forty-five minute set with his break out single Counting. It was his biggest show yet, in an exciting week that saw the release of his second album Anxiety on the Mexican Summer's Software imprint. An album which was immediately given Best New Music status (8.5) by Pitchfork. It's highly emotional content is coined by the singer’s experimental melodies over heavy 80esque synths and bass productions. If you haven't heard it yet, you can now stream it on Spotify.

Available now exclusively on iTunes, Michael Kiwanuka's debut album, Home Again, was produced by Paul Butler from The Bees in his home studio on the Isle of Wight. A top 5 best seller in the UK, it takes Michael's effortless melodies, observant lyrics and smooth voice and builds them into timeless and rootsy folk-inflected modern soul. The title single "Home Again" is the iTunes free Single Of The Week.

The album plays out like a soulful space saga in an underwater basement - there's drama, there's romance, a picnic on the moon, and a dance party or three. While undeniably smooth, there is a palpable sense of rawness and even some grit to the work - all in all, makes for a very engaging listen.
Stream the whole album below and be sure to take a listen to our favorites: "Walkin," "Return to the Journey," and "For Love I Come." Another favorite is "Is It Love" featuring guest appearances from Shafiq Husayn and Om'Mas Keith.
