Bebel Gilberto to Release All In One

cover

Known for her adventurous blends of Brazilian, European and electronic pop styles, Bebel Gilberto continues to blur musical boundaries on her release All In One. But the sensual rhythms of her native country dominate the production courtesy of Carlinhos Brown, Didi Gutman (Brazilian Girls), Mark Ronson, Daniel Jobim and John King of the acclaimed Dust Brothers.

The thoughtful artistry and sensitive vocal execution heard throughout All In One, to be released on September 29th, are culminations of a lifetime of performing. Music, the stage – it’s all in Gilberto’s blood. Bebel will showcase songs from her new Verve album in a special release performance at New York City’s The Box on Tuesday, September 29th.

The new album picks up where 2004’s Evolution left off in that it features Blackout, his scintillating ensemble that’s as versed in modern jazz as it is with rhythms, melodies and soundscapes associated with R&B, pop, hip-hop and funk.

For this video, “Gone”, they’ve organized a video remix contest: Contestants can download artwork, music and video to remix, then upload it to Stefon’s YouTube group. Stefon Harris and Stacey Robinson, the original designer, will choose the winner.
