Video: Nickodemus – “A New York Minute” + NYC Premiere

[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/Fdq8kQcB2nY" width="550" height="445" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /]

Things get hot in a New York minute on Nickodemus’ newest track featuring Sadat X, The Real Live Show, Rabbi Darkside, and iLLspokiNn. Inspired by the recent events in “Tunisisa, Egypt, the Middle East, Wisconsin, and the old school NYC Blackout of 1977,” the DJ/producer invited 5 emcees to share a personal story each in a New York minute. After completing an individual turn, the next emcee was expected to take the story further and provide additional perspective. The video is by Justin Carty who created original paintings of emcees and animated them to create the backdrop for the video.

This Thursday, you can catch up with Nickodemus at the official release party for the video, which will include an art exhibition, a sneaker art battle, and a dance party!
