The first #Offline party of the year was a huge success! And when we say special guests come out, we meant it: last night the inimitable Erykah Badu DJ’ed back to back with Q-Tip until the club closed for the night. Yep. You can stop hitting yourself now.

Next week, we invite you out for a very special #Offline in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.‘s legacy. Start the holiday weekend early with The Abstract as he spins an eclectic mix of funk and boogie, and be part of what people are calling “the best party in New York.”

Past guests have included Busta Rhymes, Dave Chappelle, Mark Ronson, and Nile Rodgers, to name a few, and you never know who’s going to show up next! Don’t miss out.

In the Panther Room, we have the pleasure of welcoming Peter Kruder (Kruder & Dorfmeister), Nickodemus (Turntables on the Hudson) and Wiseacre (theLIFT – LA, the303 – NYC). Rocking the main room and opening for Q-Tip will be the lovely Natasha Diggs of the Mobile Mondays crew.

Last week’s #Offline was one for the history books! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to pay homage to legendary musician, producer, guitarist, and songwriter Nile Rodgers as our guest of honor. It was truly unforgettable. To boot, we had the great DJ Spinna as our guest DJ and were graced with visits from Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire, Afrika Baby Bam, and Michael K Williams.

Join us tomorrow at Output and help us continue a tradition in the making!

Yesterday’s edition of #Offline was one for the history books, we had the pleasure of honoring the music and legacy of legendary musician, producer, guitarist, and songwriter Nile Rodgers. Hearing the music was monumental but having him there was unbelievable. Q-Tip & DJ Spinna went back to back playing their favorite tracks from Nile’s extensive library of hits plus artists that have sampled his music. Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire also dropped by as did Afrika Baby Bam, and Michael K Williams.

Here you can watch a quick video of the awesome scene last night! Watch the video.

Photographed above are Nile and Spinna enjoying the night; After the jump find a couple more photos from the night!
