But, oh, we have more! David Andrew Sitek (yes, the one from TV on the Radio) has added his remix treatment to two cuts from the album, “She’s 22″ and “After The Fall.” So smooth and screwface worthy at the same time – listen below and enjoy!

Norah Jones Remixes

chasingpirates

Having just released her latest full-length, The Fall, Grammy Award-winner Norah Jones has unveiled a set of brilliant remixes from a few of her favorite artists and collaborators. In this digital DJ promo, femme fatale Santigold joins forces with Snotty for an intoxicating remix of the bluesy “Chasing Pirates,” while Droogs (a remix collective featuring Beck) takes the track to a druggy downtempo wonderland. A masterful finishing touch on this EP comes courtesy of Beastie Boys’ Adrock and Mike D, with an intergalactic Big Apple remix of “That’s What I Said.” These remixes will be released digitally and on vinyl on January 12, 2010.

Norah Jones Releases New Album Today

Check out Norah Jones‘ new video “Chasing Pirates”, off her album The Fall, released today on Blue Note Records.  Featured on Rolling Stone‘s Hot List, the lead single “Chasing Pirates” immediately announces her new direction. Entertainment Weekly wrote that “‘Chasing Pirates’ is a bluesy surprise and welcome change of pace,” adding that “Jones’ voice remains as lovely as ever.” From the swaying rock thump of “Stuck” to an intimate ballad like “Back to Manhattan,” one thing that hasn’t gone away on The Fall is the distinctiveness and expressiveness of Jones’s singing.

An exciting evolution from her previous three releases, The Fall has the feeling of an artist growing into a new phase in her creative development. Beyond the changes in the conception of her own sound, she maintains that her songwriting is at the very foundation of her new approach.
