Beastie Boys Video – “Make Some Noise”

Check out the latest Beastie Boys video, inventive as ever, for the single “Make Some Noise” off their upcoming album Hot Sauce Committee Part 2. A few weeks back they released a two-minute teaser for a short film (we suspect there’s more to come), and today MTV premiered this video. It’s full of wild celebrity cameos – look for Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Ted Danson, Jack Black, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Will Arnette, Rainn Wilson and Steve Buscemi (and tell us who else we missed!) Elijah Wood is such a convincing Beastie in this short film, we think someone should get him a Brooklyn-kid role in their next major motion picture.

Bonjay – “Stumble” Video Double Premiere

Toronto based Electro-Dancehall duo Bonjay double-premiered 2 new videos for the song “Stumble” today off their buzz worthy debut Broughtupsy. The 2 videos directed by Sammy Rawal are basically the same video, but featuring 2 different dancers. Choreographer Dana Michel created a work fusing dancehall movement vocabulary and modern dance techniques to reflect the fusion of Bonjay’s sound aesthetic. Dancer Addy Chan performed the work in the exclusive Canadian premiere on NOW Magazine (see video below), and dancer Liana Lewis is featured in the exclusive US premiere on Pop Matters (see video above).
