French composer and musicians Gérald "GG" Bonnegrace aka G's Way has created Seventy Seven as an amalgamation of all his musical influences - pretty ambitious, we'd say. Drawing from artists like Ray Baretto, Eumir Deodato, Fela Kuti, Grover Washington Jr., the music is a shining blend of jazz, funk, and afro-latin sounds.
Sprinkled with guest appearances from an international sampling of artists, this album is a stunning tribute to seventies music. We love it!
