New Release: Amerigo Gazaway – ‘Bizarre Tribe: A Quest to The Pharcyde’

Amerigo Gazaway recently released an awesome tribute called Bizarre Tribe: A Quest to The Pharcyde. As one might guess, the project mashes up a hip hop golden era favorites A Tribe Called Quest with The Pharcyde.

More specifically, the approach was “pairing select Pharcyde vocals with re-orchestrated productions created from the original Jazz, Soul and Funk recordings sampled throughout ATCQ’s extensive career.” The result is some proper head nod goodness.
