Hugo Video – “Bread & Butter”

[kml_flashembed movie="" width="550" height="445" allowfullscreen="true" fvars="fs=1" /]

Hugo‘s new video for “Bread and Butter” shows the artist in his own comfort zone, pure soulful rock and roll, dedicated to the ladies. But the song that got him a deal on Roc Nation was a country-twanged cover of Jay Z‘s “99 Problems.”

Alex Cuba’s “Caballo” Video + MP3

Check out the video for “Caballo” (Horse en Español), a Cuban-funk-rock track, conceived and produced in Smithers, Canada, where Alex Cuba currently resides. Alex Cuba‘s new album is self titled, to be released in the US on June 8th. Grab yourself an MP3 after the jump!

Tricky’s Knowle West Boy Remixed by South Rakkas Crew

Tricky Meets South Rakkas Crew comes out today, a version excursion of ten tracks from Tricky‘s Knowle West Boy, where electro-dancehall collides with Tricky’s whispering ‘sprechgesang’ lyrical style to create a dancehall filler, radio killer, soundtrack thriller that seems to touch on all the happening urban sounds from around the globe. We’re talking hip-hop, reggae and rock inna dubstep dancehall style that’s left-of-center pop for the 21st century. As Tricky says: “We come in peace and leave you in pieces.”
