NextAid’s World AIDS Day Campaign (WAD2010)

NextAid, a leading nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of music to support sustainable development projects that serve vulnerable children, youth and women in Africa, has announced its fourth annual World AIDS Day Campaign (WAD2010).

Beginning November 27, 2010, WAD2010 will kick off a multi-date campaign in cities across the world to raise funds and awareness for AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children, youth and women in Africa. Current cities include Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Cape Town, Detroit, Vancouver, and many more. Top dance music artists including Frankie Knuckles, Rocky Dawuni, Mark Farina, Osunlade, Stacey Pullen, Marques Wyatt, Ultra Nate’, Swayzak, and others are all participating in this year’s events. Rocky Dawuni‘s recent album Hymns for the Rebel Soul spurred a bunch of great videos and remixes, including the above video for “Walls Tumblin Down.”  Along with the remixes by DJ OBaH, DJ Drez and Jeremy Sole with Ticklah and Blitz the Ambassador, we just received this free download for the new J-Boogie remix of “Walls Tumblin Down,” suited up for the global dancefloor.
