In case you were not able to flock south to Miami in March for the annual Winter Music Conference (where precious little conferencing actually happens), there was a great deal of amazing music showcased non-stop throughout the week. Watch some highlights from Giant Step’s 14th Annual Sunset Soiree, co-presented by Levi’s and Windows 7, featuring Estelle, Rye Rye, Questlove, Gilles Peterson and many more.
A collection of photos from our three Sunset Soiree events at Delano during Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach this year: A Night of Latin Flavor with Gilles Peterson, Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love, Alex Barck of Jazzanova, Nickodemus and Chico Mann on Friday; Estelle, Rye Rye and more, Poolside on Saturday; and Gilles Peterson with Questlove at The Florida Room on Saturday. The three events were co-presented by Levi’s and Windows 7.
Thousands of people from around the world will flock to Miami Beach for the annual Winter Music Conference, and we are some of those people. Celebrating our 14th year at the conference, we, along with help from our friends at Levi’s and Windows 7, bring our annual Sunset Soiree to the Delano for exclusive performances both poolside and in The Florida Room. Revelers can expect a line up that includes the likes of Gilles Peterson, Questlove, Estelle, Alex Barck and many more. As always entrance is free but strictly RSVP only.
Not sure about you but it’s hard for us to look fabulous on New Year’s Eve drunk on champagne in eight inches of snow. So why don’t you break out your brand new Jimmy Choos and come ring in the New Year at the stunningly chic Delano Hotel, amid South Beach, Miami‘s 75 degree temperatures.
Common will be performing inside The Florida Room, which holds only 200 people, with DJ Tommy Ryk stimulating your mind and your body. In case you don’t feel like being inside when the clock strikes midnight, Poolside, we will have Rye Rye shaking it down with DJ Mateo DiFontaine. And if all that isn’t enough, from 10pm-1am there will be an open bar included in the price of your ticket. Now tell us if you can think of a better place to be.
