Mother and musician, Georgia Anne Muldrow uses her new “Seeds” tune as a platform to ask “who’s on the lookout for the seeds?” The Madlib produced track is full of passion and signature cinematic purpose.

Watch Georgia in characteristic earthy form out with nature, in the studio, and at school with her own seeds.

Look forward to Seeds coming out on March 27th! Also catch Georgia on her east coast tour in March!

Here is the first video from Freedom Suite, the new project by Nnenna Freelon and The Beast hosted by 9th Wonder, to be posted for free download soon on Okayplayer‘s new jazz-inspired channel The Revivalist. Featured artists on this project of music & words include Phonte, YahZarah, Darien Brockington, Kooley High, Geechi SuedeBranford Marsalis, Amiri Baraka, Questlove, Herbie Hancock, Angela Davis and more.

Directed by Napoleon Wright II, the “Freedom Part 2″ video is a documentary-style short film, which follows The Beast as they volunteer and perform at a Durham-based non profit organization called SEEDS. All proceeds from the performance were donated to SEEDS, an organization which teaches inner-city youth how to plant, grow, harvest and sell crops in their own communities. Learn more about SEEDS here: seedsnc.org

Thanks to our friends at The Couch Sessions for the premiere of this community-spirited video. Keep an eye out for the launch of Okayplayer‘s new site, The Revivalist on October 26th.
