So, this little Sky Ferreira lady totally rocked out to her hipster Madonna vibes in that last “Everything Is Embarrassing” video we posted. Kinda ruled, didn’t it? This time in her new video for “Sad Video,” she’s got a little Fiona Apple thing going – how is it that this tiny lassie has got such a thick honeyed voice? We just wanna squeeze it all day long. Love.

Video: Sky Ferreira – “Everything is Embarrassing”

Sky Ferreira got her a little vintage Madonna steez going on. In this video for “Everything is Embarrassing,” she flails about like the natural carefree pop star rocker she seems destined to be. That early 90s pop zest on this tune is exactly what we needed to make this sunny Friday seem all the more perfect.

Pitchfork even gave it the honor of Best New Track when it first came out – not too shabby. And she’s quite easy on the eyes with that carefully crafted “messy” hair, too, huh? Winning all around.

The track is part of her upcoming EP, Ghost, where Sky calls on an impressive cast of producers, including Greg Kurstin (Santigold, The Shins), Jon Brion (Fiona Apple), and Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher).

Look out for Ghost on October 16.
